10 meters of sound is an audio visual kinetic instrument for motor and two 10 meter strings stretched and rotated at high speed. The composition of this instrument investigates the amplified sound of the motor combined with the sound of the the strings.
By playing and exploring different light frequencies the strings become a canvas and light becomes a painting of vibrant patterns mixed with extreme wind and speed. A live version of 10 meters of sound is performed in collaboration with Mischa Daams.
