Public Program
Residencies
Through the guest residency program iii invites international and local artists to work for a period at the iii workspace in The Hague. Residencies facilitate cooperation and exchange between artists working in different scenes and are always inserted within iii’s program through multiple activities. Agency
iii’s agency mediates between artists and a broad range of partners, distributing both individual works and fully curated programs. This facilitates the development of new context-specific commissions as well as the presentation of existing works. Here is a history of iii’s circulation program.
Productions
Productions are collaborative projects in which a group of artists/researchers work together to develop and present new performance programs, festivals, symposia, and exhibitions.
Editions
Creating vehicles through which ephemeral experiences focusing on the here and now can have a continued life in fixed media, iii editions produces and distributes artist publications.
Commissions
iii commissions artists to produce new works in order to stimulate creation in the field of art and technology.
Education
The educational program of iii reaches participants of different ages and backgrounds and offers skills of varying levels to either introduce children and non-professionals to the world of art and technology, as well as to support the professionalisation of young artists in the fields of art and technology. iii offers workshops hosted at the iii workspace and also to other schools, festivals, and organizations.
