Can you see sounds or hear images? In this workshop you will build a ‘graphite synthesizer’ together with artist Dewi de Vree.
The graphite synthesizer turns a pencil into an electronic musical instrument with which you can make music by drawing or converting drawings into sound. After building the synthesizer, you are invited to play with it.
The workshop is suitable for children between 4 and 12 years. No prior knowledge of electronics is required for participation.
At 2.30 pm there is a guided tour for the children participating in the workshop.
There will be a second workshop at Concordia on Feb 23.
