Are you an artist struggling to find a Dutch language course that works for you and your schedule? This course will mostly provide you with practical Dutch for your not-so-everyday artistic lives. Home-made, authentic, hand-picked Dutch, especially for artists.

How does it work? You pay a flat rate of €150 for a minimum of 10 courses and max 15 from the options provided. Marieke will come up with themes for lessons based on participants needs. You will read, listen, and discuss these themes, learn relevant vocabulary, learn how to introduce your work, and write your own bio amongst other things.

Marieke de Koning is a teacher, trainer and idealist. Apart from this course, she teaches young people about ethics, diversity and citizenship. Her main interests are feminist literature, windsurfing in awful (great!) Dutch storms, and trying to find out how her synth works. As a teacher her main goal is to help her students gain confidence and use their brains to think for themselves, which is illustrated by her favourite question: WHY?

Regarding the beautiful Dutch language, she has to offer an extensive vocabulary and linguistic explanations for almost every weird grammatical exception.

The Dutch for Artists course is presented by iii with financial support from The Municipality of The Hague, Stroom Den Haag, The Creative Industries Fund NL and The Performing Arts Fund NL
