Ben je benieuwd naar wat kunstenaars doen? Zou je wel eens willen weten wat er achter de schermen gebeurt om kunst te maken? Het kunstenaarscollectief ‘iii’ opent de deuren en geeft een rondleiding om het werk van verschillende kunstenaars te laten zien die werken met media, allerlei soorten geluid en nieuwe instrumenten. Dit ‘kijkje achter de schermen’ zal verschillende keren plaatsvinden, steeds voor verschillende doelgroepen.
Het tweede ‘kijkje achter de schermen’ is op 11 September om 13:30 uur en om 15:45 uur en is bedoeld voor kinderen van 6 tot 12 jaar. De kinderen…
1. Spelen eerst met een nieuw kunstwerk van kunstenaar Kunrad in ‘Proximity Music‘ tentoonstelling;
2. Praten daarna met de kunstenaar zelf.
Over het kunstwerk “Unititled” (2021) – Kunrad
Door een systeem van katrollen en hamers verandert kunstenaar Kunrad een brug tot een slaginstrument. Tijdens het Rewire Festival gaat Kunrad met de brug muziek maken.

Are you curious about what artists do? Do you sometimes wonder what happens behind the scenes of a performance and how an artwork is made? With the series “a look behind the scenes”, artist collective iii gives a tour of the works of various artists working with technology, all kinds of sounds, and new instruments.
Participants will:
1. Experience and play a work made by artist Kunrad for ‘Proximity Music’ presented by iii and Rewire Festival
2. Talk to the artist about his work
About *untitled* (2021) – Kunrad
Through a system of pulleys and mallets, sound artist Kunrad will transform a bridge into a percussion instrument. Throughout Rewire Festival, Kunrad will compose, improvise and perform with this bridge.
