A new edition of Kelderfest will take place on February 29, 2020. This festival will mainly take place underground, in cellars and basements in the center of Deventer. The festival starts with a number of major concerts at historic locations, including the Penninckshuis and the Lebuinuskerk. After these concerts, people can go underground for more intimate concerts, archaeological finds, and visual arts. The public not only has the opportunity to see the international and national talent up close but also to explore the normally invisible cellars and crypts of Deventer via a fictional metro network. On behalf of Kunstenlab Mariska will present a continuous version of Lumisonic Rotera, the work can be seen in the thousand-year-old crypt of the Lebuinus Church after the concerts of Joep Beving and Mario Batkovic.
